Italy: One Caffe At A Time

One thing I have become quite passionate about over the last few years is coffee or as the Italians refer to it, Caffe. We were fortunate enough to have been given an espresso machine as a wedding gift and have since become very enthusiastic coffee drinkers.

My wife prefers a good latte whilst my choice would be a cappuccino. We set out to taste as many different Italian Coffee’s as possible and made a point of visiting the “Best” coffee shops/Caffe’s in every town we visited.

I was also set on trying to find some of the best coffee beans Italy had to offer. I am still enjoying great Italian Coffee everyday at home. We managed to google the best coffee shops in every town we visited and made sure that we stopped there to enjoy a Caffe.

The best coffee I had in Italy was the Cappuccino at the Gran Caffe San Marco in Florence. It is situated on Piazza San Marco in Florence, around the corner from the Galleria dell’ Accademia (The home of the Statue of David).

The best Caffe view we had was in front of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, one of the highlights of our trip!
